Veneers
For those who are unhappy with the look of their smile, veneers are an easy, aesthetic, appealing solution. If you have heard the phrase “Hollywood Smile” or even “Bollywood Smile”, it is very likely that veneers are involved.

What Are Veneers?
Thin, strong material made from resin composite, or sometimes from porcelain, these are placed over the front surface of your tooth to give an overall brighter, whiter and more even appearance
Whether you have chipped teeth, dental discoloration, crowding of teeth in the mouth or irregular dental spacing, veneers can be an option for you. If you also have surface irregularities within your dental surface that you want to even out for a more professional appearance, you will be a great candidate for veneers.
How Are Veneers Done?
Your dentist will remove anywhere between 0.3 to 0.4 mm of enamel in the front part of your teeth, depending on how serious your need is. As is done with crowns as well, an impression will be taken and sent to the lab.
Veneers are fabricated according to the patient’s request in terms of size, shape, and colour, with many choosing to go for brighter veneers for smile enhancement. Following the finalising of your veneers, laminates are placed over your existing teeth with adhesive dental cement
While dental crowns need an excessive part of the dental surface to be ground and removed, veneers eliminate the need for grinding. It is a less painful, more aesthetic, less traumatic and incredibly effective dental procedure to get your ideal smile.

Dental Crowns In Coimbatore, India
Crowns are tooth shaped caps which are placed as a cover to the root canal treated teeth or implant, or natural teeth for restoring its shape and size, strength, and to improve its appearance. This is the visible part of the tooth which is placed above the gum line
At Shaad Aesthetics, we ensure that the crowns we use on our patients are only the latest, most high-end material available in the dental market. There are number of types of crowns available: here’s a look into the different kinds of dental crowns
While metal crowns are still made and still available to use, most dentists today will prefer to use metal free ceramic crowns, which mimic the tooth structure effectively as the appearance. Metal-free ceramic crowns give off a much more natural look, in comparison to metal ceramic crowns
Metal ceramic crowns reflect an opaque shade of metal, which makes its appearance dull. These kinds of crowns are advised to be placed in the front/anterior teeth for a natural and more aesthetically pleasing smile.
There are many options available at Shaad Aesthetics for metal free ceramic crowns

Zirconia Crowns: What Are The Advantages?
Zirconium is a white metal alloy made up of zirconium oxide, which is used for fabricating dental crowns.
The advantage of zirconia crowns is that zirconia is a high-strength material which requires comparatively minimal tooth preparation.
Zirconia crowns are also more likely to fit the aesthetic of your mouth and dental structures, as they are available in various translucent shades that can match the natural tooth very precisely.
Extremely biocompatible with the dental requirement, zirconia crowns are also very durable and can withstand more, making them ideal for posterior teeth also.
E-Max Crowns: What Are The Advantages?
Made up of lithium disilicate, e-max crowns are known for their durability and translucent nature. This gives you a crown that not only looks like your other, existing teeth, but also behaves like them and is just as durable. While they are marginally more expensive than zirconia crowns, they require minimal tooth preparation and reflect light in a very natural way, giving a perfect, natural and flawless smile.

Teeth Whitening In India
Porcelain veneers are a great choice when seeking a smile makeover or teeth whitening. Not only do they whiten teeth, but they also shape and size them for a better look overall. Also a known procedure for teeth whitening called dental bleaching which is a commonly used procedure for those who do not have structural dental issues, but are facing dullness in the appearance of their teeth.
This could be due to various reasons. Sometimes, deposits from food and medication adhere firmly onto the surface of the tooth, staining it. Some of these include clavulanic acid, tetracycline, erythromycin, iron supplements, and many other medications prescribed to us by general physicians for various other health issues. These can all stain the teeth over time.
Other than this, various lifestyle choices and habits can also cause dental staining. Habits such as excessive coffee consumption, smoking, chewing paan and tobacco may all cause dental discoloration.
These stains, depending on their nature, can be yellow, brown, red, or black in colour, or even white spots in the case of medical deposits.

How Do We Perform Dental Bleaching?
There are two ways to perform dental bleaching: in office bleaching and at home bleaching
In-Office Bleaching
As the name suggests, we will do this procedure in the clinic. With 10% carbamide peroxide, an acidic agent will be used that acts on stains and lighten the colour of a stained tooth or teeth
You will usually see the results of in-office peroxide bleaching within 2-3 sittings with your dentist.

At Home Bleaching
As the name suggests, this is an at-home tooth whitening procedure you will do at home under the expert guidance of your dentist.Your dentist will provide you custom-made trays that fit your teeth, as well as specific bleaching agents that will address your particular issues.
To ensure this works effectively, you apply the bleaching agent on the tray, and place the tray in your mouth as directed. These trays, lined with the bleaching agent, should be worn from anywhere between 2 hours to 8 hours a day (if during night time), and ensure results in 6-8 weeks without needing a further follow-up
Gummy Smile
Gum line plays an important role in determining beauty of your smile. Over exposure of gums can make your smile awkward sometimes. We use latest technology lasers for gum line corrections with less pain, less bleeding and minimal healing period. Gum contouring is indicated in conditions like gummy smile, irregular gum shape and short clinical crowns.

Aesthetic Fillings
Aesthetic dental fillings: which look, feel and behave like normal dental structure, are made of a material called composite, and are very commonly used in patients who have suffered tooth damage, tooth decay, fractured teeth or need their smile repaired.
This composite matches the colour of your tooth exactly, and therefore looks very natural, mimicking dental structure and thus camouflaging as your own teeth. After your dentist removes any decay, composite is used to fill the area. Stronger and better looking than traditional dental fillings, composites are inexpensive, and a great solution to dental issues.
